By using GPS-derived velocities of 2015–2021 and a negative dislocation program, we inverted the locking degree slip rate deficit in Qilian–Haiyuan fault zone, combined with distribution small earthquakes fault, studied characteristics before 2022 Menyuan M S 6.9 earthquake analyzed future seismic hazards each segment within this zone.
